Terms of Use
Please read carefully the terms and conditions governing the use of the Zenie platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using the Zenie platform ("Platform"), available at zenie.digital, you declare that you have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any provision herein, you must immediately stop using the Platform.
These Terms constitute a binding contract between you ("User") and Zenie Tecnologia Ltda, registered under CNPJ No. 61.450.719/0001-19 ("Zenie", "we", or "our").
Continued use of the Platform after any updates to these Terms implies automatic acceptance of the new conditions.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
- Platform: the Zenie web system, accessible through the zenie.digital domain and associated subdomains, including all its features, pages, APIs, and mobile apps.
- Organizer: an individual or legal entity that uses the Platform to create, manage, and promote events, including ticket sales and attendee management.
- Attendee: an individual who registers, purchases tickets, or participates in events created on the Platform.
- Sponsor: an individual or legal entity that sponsors events through the Platform, with access to the sponsor portal.
- Event: any happening — in person, hybrid, or online — created and managed by an Organizer on the Platform.
- Plan: the subscription tier contracted by the Organizer (Free, Starter, Professional, or Enterprise), which defines the applicable resources, limits, and fees.
- Ticket: a digital title that grants the Attendee the right to access an Event, which may be free or paid.
- Account: the User's personal record on the Platform, protected by access credentials (email and password).
- User Content: any information, text, image, logo, video, or material submitted or published by the User on the Platform.
3. Registration and Account
3.1. Registration Requirements
To use the Platform, the User must:
- Be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age or be duly represented by a legal guardian;
- Provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information during registration;
- Have a valid and active email address;
- Fully accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
3.2. Account Responsibility
The User is fully responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials (email and password);
- All activities carried out in their Account, even if by third parties;
- Immediately notifying Zenie of any unauthorized use or suspicion of a security breach;
- Keeping their registration data up to date.
3.3. Security
Zenie offers security features, including two-factor authentication (2FA) and monitoring of suspicious activity. We strongly recommend that the User enable two-factor authentication for additional protection of their Account.
Zenie is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from the User's failure to comply with security obligations.
3.4. Platform Communications
By accepting these Terms, the User agrees to receive communications from Zenie, including:
- Recommendations of relevant events, content, and services;
- Platform news and updates;
- Institutional and informational communications;
- Transactional notifications (registration confirmations, tickets, payments).
The User may, at any time, cancel the receipt of promotional and marketing communications through the unsubscribe links available in the emails or in their account settings. Transactional and operational notifications essential for the provision of the service cannot be disabled.
4. Plans and Payments
4.1. Subscription Plans
The Platform offers different subscription plans with specific features, limits, and fees, as detailed on the pricing page. Plans may include, among others, limits on events, attendees, storage, and advanced features.
4.2. Payment Processing
Payments are processed through the Stripe platform, a third-party payment service. By making payments, the User also agrees to Stripe's terms of service. Zenie does not store full credit card data on its servers.
4.3. Fees on Ticket Sales
Zenie charges a fee on each ticket sale processed by the Platform. The fee percentage varies according to the Plan contracted by the Organizer and is clearly stated before contracting. Fees are automatically deducted at the time of transfer to the Organizer.
4.4. Transfers to Organizers
The amounts collected from ticket sales are transferred to Organizers through the payment gateway configured for the event — Stripe Connect or Asaas —, with Platform fees and payment processor fees deducted. The Organizer must maintain an active and verified account on the chosen gateway to receive transfers.
4.5. Refunds and Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/1990), the Attendee who purchases tickets through the Platform has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of acquisition, with the right to a full refund of the amount paid. See section 12 (Refund Policy) for more details.
4.6. Plan Cancellation
The Organizer may cancel their Plan at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, maintaining access to the Plan's features until the end of the period already paid. There is no proportional refund for unused periods, except where required by law.
5. Use of the Platform
5.1. Permitted Use
The Platform must be used exclusively for the creation, management, and participation in lawful events. The Organizer may use the resources available in their Plan to:
- Create and customize event websites with the available templates;
- Sell and manage tickets;
- Manage attendees, speakers, sponsors, and the schedule;
- Use communication, check-in, and analytics tools;
- Configure custom domains for their events.
5.2. Prohibited Use
It is expressly prohibited to use the Platform to:
- Create fictitious, fraudulent, or misleading events;
- Sell tickets for events that the User is not authorized to organize;
- Violate any applicable federal, state, or municipal law;
- Publish illegal, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene content, or content that incites violence;
- Collect, store, or use the personal data of other Users without consent and without a legal basis;
- Interfere with, overload, or compromise the operation of the Platform or its servers;
- Perform reverse engineering, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform;
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without prior authorization;
- Resell or sublicense access to the Platform;
- Promote financial pyramids, Ponzi schemes, or similar activities.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. Platform Ownership
The Platform, including its source code, design, templates, logos, trademarks, institutional texts, algorithms, and other technical and visual elements, is the exclusive property of Zenie Tecnologia Ltda, protected by Brazilian intellectual property laws, including Law No. 9,610/1998 (Copyright) and Law No. 9,279/1996 (Industrial Property).
6.2. Organizer Content
The Organizer retains ownership of all content they submit to the Platform (texts, images, logos, videos, and other materials for their events). By publishing content on the Platform, the Organizer grants Zenie a non-exclusive, worldwide, free, and revocable license to display, reproduce, and distribute such content, strictly for the purposes of operating and promoting the service.
6.3. Feedback
Any suggestions, ideas, or comments provided by the User about the Platform may be freely used by Zenie to improve the service, without this generating any obligation of compensation.
7. Organizer Responsibilities
The Organizer assumes full responsibility for:
- Accuracy of information: ensuring that all Event information (date, location, schedule, prices, policies) is accurate and up to date;
- Holding the Event: fully complying with what was announced and promised to Attendees;
- Data protection: processing the personal data of Attendees in compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018), acting as a data controller or processor as applicable;
- Tax obligations: issuing invoices, collecting taxes, and complying with all tax and regulatory obligations arising from the organization of the Event;
- Licenses and authorizations: obtaining all licenses, permits, and authorizations necessary to hold the Event with the competent bodies;
- Event security: providing adequate security infrastructure for Attendees;
- Attendee support: offering adequate support and service to the Attendees of their Events;
- Published content: ensuring that all content published on the Event page respects the rights of third parties and current legislation.
8. Attendee Responsibilities
The Attendee undertakes to:
- Provide truthful and complete data when registering or purchasing tickets, including CPF when requested;
- Punctually fulfill their payment obligations;
- Respect the rules and policies established by the Organizer for each Event;
- Not transfer tickets in a manner not authorized by the Organizer;
- Present a valid identification document, when requested, for access to the Event or check-in;
- Report any problems with the purchase or access to the Event within the legal deadlines.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1. Nature of the Platform
Zenie acts exclusively as a technological intermediation platform, providing tools for Organizers to create and manage their Events. Zenie is not the organizer, producer, or promoter of the Events published on the Platform.
9.2. Exclusion of Liability
Zenie is not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, legality, or holding of the Events;
- The truthfulness or accuracy of information published by Organizers;
- Cancellations, postponements, or changes to the Events promoted by the Organizer;
- Direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in Events;
- Disputes between Organizers and Attendees;
- Losses or damages caused by fortuitous events, force majeure, or failures of third-party services (payment processors, hosting providers, etc.).
9.3. Limitation of Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Zenie towards any User, for any cause and regardless of the form of action, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the User to Zenie in the 12 (twelve) months prior to the event that gave rise to the claim.
10. User Content
10.1. Responsibility for Content
The User is solely responsible for all content they publish, submit, or make available on the Platform. Zenie does not perform prior curation of content but reserves the right to remove, at any time and without prior notice, content that violates these Terms or current legislation.
10.2. Prohibited Content
It is prohibited to publish content on the Platform that:
- Violates copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties;
- Contains discriminatory, racist, homophobic, xenophobic material, or content that incites hatred;
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal activities;
- Contains pornography, sexually explicit material, or content inappropriate for minors;
- Discloses personal information of third parties without consent;
- Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code;
- Constitutes spam, phishing, or unsolicited commercial communication.
10.3. Content Reporting
Any User can report content they consider to be in violation of these Terms via the email contato@zenie.digital. Zenie will analyze the reports and take appropriate measures within a reasonable timeframe.
11. Suspension and Termination
11.1. Suspension by Zenie
Zenie reserves the right to suspend or terminate, temporarily or permanently, the Account of any User, without prior notice, in the following cases:
- Violation of any provision of these Terms;
- Practice of fraud, embezzlement, or unlawful activity;
- Provision of false or misleading information;
- Use of the Platform in a way that compromises the security or stability of the service;
- Repeated default;
- Judicial or administrative determination;
- Detection of suspicious activity or spam in the Account.
11.2. Termination by the User
The User may request the termination of their Account at any time. The termination of the Account does not exempt the User from pending obligations, including payments due and commitments made to Attendees. Data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable legislation.
11.3. Effects of Suspension or Termination
In the event of suspension or termination, the Organizer's active Events may be deactivated, and Attendees will be notified where applicable. Zenie will not be responsible for losses or damages arising from the suspension or termination of the Account due to a violation of these Terms.
12. Refund Policy
12.1. Right of Withdrawal (CDC)
In accordance with article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code, the Attendee who purchases tickets over the internet has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of acquisition or receipt of the digital ticket, whichever occurs last. In this case, the refund will be full, including any service fees.
12.2. Refund for Event Cancellation
In the event of cancellation of the Event by the Organizer, the Attendee is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for the ticket. The Organizer is responsible for enabling such a refund, and may use the Platform's tools to process it.
12.3. Refund Initiated by the Organizer
The Organizer may, at their discretion, grant full or partial refunds to Attendees through the tools provided on the Platform, respecting the deadlines and limits of the payment processor.
12.4. Refund Processing
Refunds are processed by Stripe and may take from 5 to 10 business days to be reflected on the Attendee's card statement, depending on the financial institution. Zenie has no control over the processing times of financial institutions.
13. Service Availability
13.1. Availability
Zenie strives to keep the Platform available 24 (twenty-four) hours a day, 7 (seven) days a week. However, it does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and temporary unavailability may occur due to:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance;
- System updates and infrastructure improvements;
- Failures in third-party services (hosting, DNS, payment processing);
- Fortuitous events or force majeure.
13.2. Scheduled Maintenance
Whenever possible, Zenie will communicate in advance scheduled maintenance that may affect the availability of the service, preferably performing it during off-peak hours.
13.3. Support
Technical support is provided through the official service channels of Zenie. Response times vary according to the Plan contracted by the Organizer.
14. Changes to the Terms
Zenie reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to Users through:
- Email notification to the registered address;
- A prominent notice on the Platform;
- Updating the "last updated" date at the top of this document.
Substantial changes will be communicated at least 30 (thirty) days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the notice period implies acceptance of the new Terms. If the User does not agree with the changes, they must stop using the Platform and request the termination of their Account.
15. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, including, but not limited to:
- Civil Code (Law No. 10,406/2002);
- Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/1990);
- Internet Civil Framework (Law No. 12,965/2014);
- General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018);
- Copyright Law (Law No. 9,610/1998).
The court of the district of the headquarters of Zenie Tecnologia Ltda is elected as competent to resolve any disputes arising from these Terms, with express waiver of any other, however privileged it may be, except for the consumer's right to choose the court of their domicile, in accordance with article 101, I, of the Consumer Protection Code.
