Apps covered
This page applies to your Zenie account and every app that uses it:
- Zenie Organizador (digital.zenie.organizer_app) — event management app for organizers.
- Event apps generated by Zenie for individual events.
- Web platform at zenie.digital.
Deletion is performed through the web platform and covers all of them: the account is a single one, and removing it ends your access in every app.
How to delete your account
You can do this yourself, without contacting support:
- Go to the login page and sign in to your account.
- Open Settings from the dashboard menu.
- Scroll to the Delete account section at the bottom of the page.
- Confirm with your password. If you sign in with Google, no password confirmation is required.
The Zenie Organizador app does not perform deletion on mobile — it only grants access to existing events. Use the web dashboard following the steps above.
When deletion is blocked
To protect people who have already bought tickets, deletion is not allowed while your account still has a published event. In that case the dashboard shows a warning and nothing is removed.
To proceed, unpublish or conclude your events and repeat the process. If an event has already taken place and cannot be unpublished, contact us through the channels at the bottom of this page.
What gets deleted
Once you confirm, your session ends immediately and your account ceases to exist on the platform. The following are deleted:
- Your registration data: name, email, phone, identification document and profile photo.
- Your access credentials and two-factor authentication settings.
- Your membership in event teams and any associated permissions.
- Your session history and account preferences.
From the moment you confirm, you lose access to the account, and this action cannot be undone.
What is retained, and for how long
Some data is not deleted immediately, either because of legal obligations or because it also belongs to other people. To be transparent about it:
- Account data: deleted within 30 (thirty) days of the request, except where a legal retention obligation applies.
- Tax and financial data: kept for a minimum of 5 (five) years, as required by Brazilian tax law. This includes invoices, payouts and transaction records.
- Event and registration data: kept for up to 5 (five) years after the event takes place, for auditing and potential disputes. Registrations also belong to attendees and are not removed along with the organizer account.
- Access logs: kept for 6 (six) months, as required by the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework (Law no. 12.965/2014).
Full retention details are in section 10 of our Privacy Policy.
If you cannot access your account
Lost your password or access to your registered email? You can still request deletion:
- First try to recover your password — that is the fastest route.
- If that is not possible, write to contato@zenie.digital with the subject "Account deletion", stating your registered email.
- We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity before proceeding — this protects you against deletion requests made by third parties.
We respond to such requests within 15 (fifteen) business days, as required by the Brazilian data protection law (LGPD).
Your other rights
Beyond deletion, you have the right to access, correct, port and object to the processing of your data. To exercise any of them, use the same contact channels listed on this page.
